基本情况：
浙江杭州人，1965年12月出生，中共党员。先后毕业于南京大学、华东政法学院、武汉大学，分别获得理学士、法学硕士和法学博士，对外经济贸易大学博士后，国际经济法学教授。2004.8-2011.12任浙江工商大学法学院院长，2012.1月后加入中国政法大学，现任中国政法大学国际法学院院长、博士生导师；兼任国际比较法学院联系会员（International Academy of Comparative Law, associate member）、英文学术刊物Chinese Journal of Global Governance（中国全球治理学刊）主编、中国国际经济法学会副会长、中国法学会世界贸易组织法研究会副会长。
自1996年-2002年期间，在联合国贸发会议、德国马克斯普朗克比较公法和国际法研究院、剑桥大学劳特派特国际法研究中心、新加坡国立大学东亚研究所等国际机构从事中国视野中的国际经济法的前沿学术探索。
孔庆江教授从事科研不辍，多年来在国外出版以英文发表的专著四部，涉及中国与WTO等重大议题；在《国际法和比较法季刊》、《国际经济法学刊》、《世界贸易学刊》等匿名评审的国际法学刊物和其他国际主流学术刊物发表英文撰写的论文30多篇，经教育部查新站北京大学图书馆针对制定的论文的检索，其中被SSCI收录12篇（其中3篇是加入中国政法大学后发表的）；其最新发表的论文为 China in the WTO and Beyond: China's Approach to International Institutions，Tulane Law Review, Vol 88 No.5, May 2014, pp 959-982；最近出版的专著为China-EU Trade Disputes and Their Management, World Scientific Publishing Co (Singapore, London, New Jersey, Hong Kong), 2012。
荣获奖项：
2004年获安子介国际贸易研究奖，2007年和2008年两次获得国内法学界最重要奖项之一--钱端升法学研究成果奖，2009年获商务部颁发论文二等奖；孔庆江同志于2008年被浙江省委组织部等六部委联合授予“浙江省优秀留学回国人员”，2009年被人力资源和社会保障部、教育部联合授予“全国模范教师”称号，入选2010年度教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”。
研究方向及其成果为：
1. 在我国的对外经济法律外交战略研究方面(包括我国参与自由贸易谈判的战略、参与国际投资规则制定的实践),取得了较大的成绩。这方面他的主要创新成果:有发表在Journal of World Trade的论文China's Uncharted Free Trade Agreement Strategy等论文2篇，人民日报内参等咨政建议2篇。
2. 在我国与主要贸易伙伴国的贸易争端问题上,做了大量的实证研究。这方面的主要创新成果有:出版专著China-EU Trade Disputes and Their Management, World Scientific Publishing Co (Singapore, London, New Jersey, Hong Kong), 2012）。
3. 在与贸易有关的知识产权方面具有一定学术贡献,这方面的主要创新成果有:发表在Journal of Intellectual Property Law & Practice的Embracing an intellectual property strategy amid WTO compliance,等论文。
KONG Qingjiang has been a full professor of law since November 2002. He is currently Dean of the School of International Law, China University of Political Science and Law. He is the Editor-in-chief of The Chinese Journal of Global Governance.
Specializing in international economic law, the WTO law and China issues, he has published more than 30 articles with international journals (e.g., 3 articles with Journal of International Economic Law (JIEL), 2 with Journal of World Trade (JWT), 1 with International and Comparative Law Quarterly (ICLQ), 2 with Heidelberg Journal of International Law (ZaöV), 1 with Journal of Intellectual Property Law & Practice (JIPL&P), 1 with Columbia Journal of Asian Law. He is the author of 4 books (3 in English and 1 in Chinese), i.e. China and the World Trade Organization: A Legal Perspective (World Scientific Publishing, Singapore and London, 2002), WTO, Internationalization of Intellectual Property Rights Regime in China (Marshall Cavendish, Singapore, 2005, China-EU Trade Disputes and Their Legal Management, World Scientific Publishing, Singapore and London, 2012) and The Legal Environment for Chinese Trade in Textiles (China Renmin University Press, 2005).
Currently he is doing a National Social Science Foundation-sponsored research project entitled Joint Development as a Means to the Management Disputes in the South China Sea.
