教授、法学博士、外交学院院长助理兼教务处长。中国国际关系学会副秘书长、中国中俄关系史学会常务理事、上海合作组织睦邻友好合作委员会理事。1998年起在外交学院外交学系工作，先后任科研处处长、中国外交理论研究中心主任、教务处长等职；法国斯特拉斯堡大学兼职教授，美国富布莱特高级访问学者。
